Amazing Food Day

I finally paid for my tickets to South Korea today! I'm so excited!

So scary carrying $1400 in cash...

This morning I made a Nutella mug cake!

It looks kind of gross, but it was super yummy!

I tried the new lamb wrap from McDonalds. It was soo yummy! I really wanted more!

I had dinner tonight at Guhng. The restaurant itself looks quite nice.

So yummy! We bought the Set Menu. It wasn't too expensive (since my friend had the entertainment card), but normally it's about $30 per person.

Today was a good food day.

The Bourne Legacy

Tonight I watched "The Bourne Legacy" with a few friends tonight.

I have never watched any of the Bourne movies so I was a little confused at first as to what the story was about, but I picked it up quickly enough.

I actually really enjoyed the movie. It had a good mix of action and they did a nice job explaining the premise of the whole story to those who had never watched the previous films.

I was disappointed with the ending because I assumed there would be some kind of finality with the story. It left some room for another movie to be produced so I'm hoping there's going to be another movie. I was left some what dissatisfied with how it ended because I wanted to see more!

I can imagine it being a little disappointing for those who have already watch the previous Bourne movies, but being a total newbie, it makes me want to watch the previous ones so as to catch up on the story.

Ate dinner at Wagamama as well. I wasn't really hungry because of all the snacks I had during the movie so I ordered ice cream and we shared two mains between the three of us. Wagamama has a 2 for 1 main meal deal going on right now so we took advantage of that.

Pork Belly ramen and ... fried udon (?)

Green Tea and Lychee ice cream!

Yum.

Self Renovation

Motivation hit me like a smart bus yesterday. I realised that I really needed to pick up my game, that I wasn't being serious enough.

I used to aim for the best, the highest. However as time went by I became more complacent and more and more content with just passing. Until yesterday.

I was really dissatisfied with my effort.

Why did I become like this? Is it because I've gotten lucky throughout my life that I've assumed that I'll continue being lucky?

I've thrown myself into studying now. I'm trying to reinforce all the things I've learnt in the last year and a half right now. Language learning doesn't come easily to me. I have a lot of holes in my knowledge.

The fear of failing has put a lot of stress on my shoulders. So much so that I couldn't focus on working - all I could think about was how to improve my Korean.

I'm going to use this stress to my advantage. I'm going to use it to push myself beyond limits that I previously thought were impossible to surpass.

Perhaps I'll share my learning and revision progress later.

Other than taking care of my brain, I need to take care of my body too. I want to feel more beautiful I guess. Which girl doesn't?

I want to start an exercise routine, but I've been tired and too occupied with other things. So I decided to start simple. Nail polish and a face mask.

I lost my tape measure so I took two of the paper rulers at IKEA and taped them together.
Cheap Asian? Yes.
But it works.

The Meatballs of Ikea

Ikea meatballs are so good. I'm obsessed with Ikea food. I would eat there for lunch every day.

I also got a Greek Salad cause I was super hungry. I probably should have gotten a dessert instead.

We had a little trouble understanding why this chair had wheels since they didn't touch the ground.

"Life and pull."

Trying to get it back to what it originally was - a chair.
"Lift and push."

This will be my future desk.

Daiso - Melbourne CBD

Hello.

I finally paid a visit to the Melbourne CBD Daiso store. I've been to the Richmond one and it pales in comparison to the new store. It's huge!
Unfortunately I forgot to take photos.

But I wanted to buy so many things! The only thing stopping me was the fact that I was aware of how I was going to get all these things home.

So I have another small Japanese variety goods haul.

Pencils. A little bit random, but I miss using pencils. I was oddly envious of people using pencils so I wanted to use them again.

Trash can. I have a lot of tissues and scrap papers on my desk and I don't really have a bin in my room. I usually have to throw it in a bag and leave it on the floor.
[ League of Legends stream going on in the background...]

Shopping bag. It was so cute! There's so many different designs and everything. Like with cute makeup pouches, I wanted them all!

Cough Syrup. I didn't buy this from Daiso, but it's helped me with my cough. Codral didn't work so the pharmacist gave me this. It tastes pretty bad...

Japanese Variety Goods

So I'm a really bad blogger. I don't update as much as I would like, and I keep forgetting to take photos/too shy to take photos. I should be more shameless so I can be a better blogger.

Baskin Robins!

I also discovered another $2.80 store. It's in the shopping center in Burwood where the 24/7 Coles/Kmart is . Is it just me or are heaps of these sprouting up all over Melbourne?

Heat packs - These caught my eye because I've always wanted some because I suffer from extremely cold hands sometimes.

They also sold My Beauty Diary facemasks. It was $18 for the box which I don't think was a bad deal. I think this is the only Asian skincare I'm willing to buy in Australia because the prices are similar online and in store.

Vanilla Milk Bath with Honey Powder - The Japanese really like taking baths so they have all sorts of powders they put in their baths. I like baths too but often they're too time consuming and water wasting to do . I'll save this for a special occasion when I want to feel pretty.

More storage! I have a particular affliction where I am innately messy. I thought if I had more of these storage baskets and containers, my room wouldn't look as messy because I can now put things in baskets.

I haven't visited the new Daiso store in the CBD, but I really want to see if there are any other new and quirky things that I want to pick up.

Feverish

I've been feeling quite crappy as of late. It first began when I found out I had cried in my sleep. I can't remember what brought on the tears, but I was so mentally exhausted that I went straight back to sleep when I suddenly woke up.

That brought on the sore throat.

Which then lead to a fever.

Luckily for me, my daddy made me some honey lemon and gave me some panadol.

I still had to study though ): Even though all I wanted to do was get out of my achy body and play LoL.

(I'm pretty excited to play LoL now because I just recently got Kennen, Vayne and the new champion Diana!)

I'm starting to fall behind in my study because of the fever so I need to really put my game face on tomorrow and get it all done.

I really do need to remember to take more photos when I'm out ): I went to su;t and wine with Sonny today and I forgot to take a photo of our awesome bibimbap lunch. He drove me to uni too :')

Just getting this off my chest for now.

MCCC Ball

MCCC Ball! At the Melbourne Aquarium!

I've been kind of excited for this ever since I found out it was being held at the Aquarium. Luckily I have a good friend who is a committee member and she asked me if I wanted to join her table. I heard that the tickets sold out pretty much within half an hour.

Getting ready with Bibi :) I swear getting ready took so long because I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my hair. I should have done make up and hair tests before hand.
I'm pretty happy with how I ended up with. I got a few compliments for it too :)

Entree, Main and Dessert

My favourite part of the night was probably the photo booth. I reckon we should have abused it more!
